My Cat Hates Me

Theres something special about black cats. They seem to be of a completely different breed than other cats. They communicate with you and they have strong personalities. This is why I chose to write about my black cat.

First, let me start out with what he used to be. He was lean, fast, playful, and entertaining....and he was mean. I would walk down the hall and all of a sudden, to my horror, feel a painful bite on the back of my thigh. He would often be in attack mode, acting like I was his next meal. He would play fetch with wads of paper and let you roll him around and rough him up like a dog.

That all ended when I brought another cat into the picture.

Nala is a tabby kitten and she is the sweetest thing in the world. She purrs and nudges you, cuddles and licks and plays with you whenever you want. My little black man hates me for bringing her here. He cleans her and cuddles with her, then gives me a dirty look. He turns his head away when I call him and wont let me hold him at all.

This is a cats revenge. I brought in a roommate he didnt approve of. He is nice to her but continues after several months to express his unhappiness to me. He is mad. He's getting very fat and lazy and seems depressed. Im not sure what to do about it, but I miss my playful little black man. He hates me.
